How are transport rates determined, and how much will it cost to transport my vehicle?
Rates are determined based on a number of factors.

  • Locations of pickup and delivery
  • Transport miles
  • Size and weight of the vehicle
  • Whether the vehicle is operable or inoperable
  • Increased Fuel price
  • Flexibility of transport time
  • Your rate will be figured based on your specific vehicle

What is the time frame from pick up tp delivery of my vehicle?
Transport times will vary depending on the number of miles between pick up and delivery. Generally cross country (west coast to east coast) carriers allow 7-10 days transport time. Weather conditions as well as carrier delays during multiple pick ups or deliveries can also affect both pick up and delivery schedules.

What is the difference between an open and an enclosed carrier?
Open carriers are open car trailers which can range from 1-10 car transport capacity. Open trailers are the least expensive method of transport. Enclosed trailers are completely covered on all sides and usually range from 1-6 car capacity. They are more expensive and generally are used to transport luxury or collectors restored vehicles.

Can I pack things in my car for transport?
Based on FMC regulations a carrier should only transport 100 lbs or less of personal belongings in the trunk area only of the vehicle.

How do I place my order?
You may place the order for transport of your vehicle by placing a call to our office (919-258-0194), or by email to bluelinetransport@hotmail.com. Click on our "Order Form" and place your order on line or call our office and speak with one of our friendly staff. Please have your transport information available including theContact name, address, and contact telephone numbers for both the pick up and delivery locations, and one of our representatives will be happy to assist you with scheduling the transport of your vehicle.

How do I pay for my vehicle transport?
COD payments can be made to our drivers on delivery of your vehicle. We accept cash, cashier’s check, company check or money order. Vehicles transported on other carriers may require a deposit prior to to pick up and can be mailed to Blue Line Transport Services (Personal checks must clear prior to pick up) Deposits are also accepted by credit card or e check through paypal.

Can I speak directly to the driver/carrier prior to and after pickup of my vehicle?
Yes. When a transporter is assigned to pick up your vehicle we will supply you with your driver's name and contact number. Copies of the carrier insurance and authority are also available upon request. You may call us at any time for an update on the location of your vehicle during transport.
